The light from the Lord’s lamp was beaming and formed light shades and grey shades here and there. Sounds of sleep could have been the only sounds, yet, someone started speaking. Who? It was late in the night. Did Eli have something important to tell Samuel. ‘Speak Lord. Your servant is listening.’ Samuel would learn to hear the voice of the Lord.

Where can I go from Your presence Lord? You are close. You are near. I can walk with you. I will dwell in your house forever.
Her Name Was Changed
God was doing something beautiful for Sarai. He saw her and her situation, but it was not that God was making her dreams come true, they were God’s dreams. Would He give her the gift of motherhood? At least He would start by changing her name. What does that mean to you, if God says, hey I want to change your name?
